Looking back on 2022, we want to take this chance to thank you for the
exciting projects and conversations as well as for your interest in our blog!

For this occasion as you can see in the animation, we have built a Digital
Twin for a very special heating network. The network supplies 24 buildings
with heat. Even if the building's floor plans in the form of candles and
stars are a bit unusual, we have stored demand curves in the model. The sum
of these curves can be seen in the animation at the top left. The feed-in
shown on the bottom left, supplies the network at flow temperatures between
47 and 53 °C.
This ensures that our tree network changes color nicely depending on the
supply temperature. The line thickness varies with the flow rate for each
pipe element. Even though the realization of this network is not very likely,
we enjoyed modelling it and hope to use our Digital Twin again in the new
year for many exciting projects.
