Digital Twin Feature Update: December

Dear Reader,

In our feature update for version 2024.12 of our heatbeat Digital Twin, we would like to emphasise a few highlights of our current development. In the latest weekly updates for our digital twin, the display of live data and helpful new features in the map view stand out in particular.

Live data table for substations

With this new function, users can now see all substations in a clearly organised list that displays live data on various measured values. This allows you to quickly and easily keep an eye on your network and quickly become aware of possible faults.

Highlights

  • Real-time monitoring: You receive immediate insight into the current measured values of the substations, such as heat output, flow and return temperature and volume flow. This means that you are always up to date and can react quickly to changes.
  • Efficiency analysis: Use key figures such as the volume requirement to identify inefficient substations in your network.
  • Recognise malfunctions: Thanks to a status column, users can immediately recognise when there are incidents. This enables quick problem detection and resolution, which increases the efficiency and reliability of your substation monitoring.

New map level for networks

With the new display options in the map view, you can always keep an eye on important key figures for your network. New map layers and additional information are now available in the tooltip.

The Digital Twin supports you in displaying your network with a coloured representation of the pipe dimensions:

In addition to the pipe dimensions, you can use our visualisation to get an idea of the specific heat losses. The usual quick change between the map levels allows you to draw conclusions across all key figures:

New map layer for buildings

With our digital twin, you can already display the heat consumption for different years. With our latest version, you now also have the option of displaying the average heat consumption.

With this function, users can not only display the heat consumption per year but also the average heat consumption. This gives you a meaningful overview of heat consumption, taking into account all historical data.
