Digital Twin Feature Update: June

Dear readers,

In our feature update for version 2025.6 of our heatbeat Digital Twin, we would like to highlight some of the highlights of our current development. The most recent weekly updates of our Digital Twin include the ability to analyse live and measurement data on the map.

Live and measurement data on the map view

The live and measurement data table is the linchpin if you want an orderly overview of all substations and supplies. With our new feature, we are adding another aspect to the table: the connection between live and measurement data and geographical location.

To illustrate this, you can now view live and measurement data directly on the map and filter it by different time periods. You can either select the current value directly on the map or display minimum, maximum or average values for the last 24 hours, the last week or even several years.

Example for measurment data on the map

The analysis over different time periods is available for a range of key figures. You can select key figures such as heat output, flow and return temperature, volume flow, volume demand and valve position. In addition, calculated key figures such as volume demand, including error messages, are output if a target value defined by you is exceeded. The display options in the map view help you to identify areas of the network where inefficient behaviour occurs frequently.

General improvements in usability

In addition, we have restructured the menu navigation of the map view and introduced the „Gebiete“ layer group to make it quicker and more intuitive to find the right layer. A new font also improves readability and the overall visual impression.

Have fun trying it out.
