With deep roots in energy engineering and supported by our own software development, heatbeat works on innovative solutions for the dynamic simulation of heating and cooling networks. To this end, we develop and use next-generation simulation models as well as innovative programs for process automation in order to map and optimize the dynamic operation of energy systems at district and city level.
After our start as a spin-off from the RWTH Aachen University, we are now represented at our two branches in Nuremberg and Aachen in order to support our customers in their projects in the best possible way.
Based on the results of the doctoral thesis "Graph Framework for Urban Energy Systems" for automated model generation of energy networks, Marcus Fuchs and Prof. Dirk Müller found heatbeat engineering GmbH.
After the successful completion of the first projects, heatbeat engineering moves to the current company headquarters in the center of Nuremberg. Due to the good infrastructure and transport connections, the basis for the further development of the company has been created.
While we started off in a shared office space in Nuremberg, heatbeat engineering fully acquired the complete office space one year later. This expansion helps us to further support the growth of the company.
As one of 20 winning projects in the ideas competition "Reallabore der Energiewende", the TransUrban.NRW project with the participation of heatbeat engineering is launched. Further information about the project can be found here.
In order to be better represented in North Rhine-Westphalia and to further intensify the good collaborations with RWTH Aachen University, we found our subsidiary company heatbeat nrw GmbH in June 2020. The CEO of the new company is Peter Remmen.
Would you like to write the next chapter of our company history together with us? We are looking forward to discussing the opportunities for collarboration and joint projects.
