In June, we attended SummerSID in Stuttgart together with our project partners from NEW-Smart City. In the slot "Heat-Transformers 1000-piece-puzzle-guide for emission-free heat(-planning)" Tobias Stapels and Philipp Rubach from NEW presented their project in the “seestadt mg+” and briefly explained our role there. Together with NEW, we are part of the TransUrban.NRW project consortium. In the TransUrban.NRW project, innovative 5th generation heating and cooling networks take on the role of a modern energy platform. The aim is to cover heating and cooling requirements in the district as optimally as possible. In addition, digital processes support the path from the idea to implementation and operation to make the best possible use of optimization potentials and synergies.

In the following SIDTalk, Peter had the opportunity to talk about our Digital Twin and opportunities and the role of municipal utilities in the heat transition.
