Strategic Partnership between heatbeat and ENERPIPE

Press Release from heatbeat engineering GmbH

heatbeat Forms Strategic Partnership to Advance the Digital Twin for District Heating Network Systems

Nuremberg, June 2024 - heatbeat engineering GmbH and ENERPIPE are pleased to announce their new strategic partnership. This collaboration aims to advance heatbeat’s innovative solutions in the planning and operational optimization of district heating networks. This partnership marks a milestone for heatbeat and will contribute to the faster development of operational optimization for heating networks in the heatbeat Digital Twin.

The partnership between ENERPIPE and heatbeat brings together two strong forces, creating outstanding synergies. ENERPIPE, known as a complete provider for the implementation of local and district heating networks, brings its expertise in the planning and implementation of heating networks into the partnership. heatbeat digitizes heating network projects with the heatbeat Digital Twin, from the initial concept idea to later operational optimization, and has been proving the advantages of digitization in heating network projects on the market for several years.

Markus Euring, Head of the Planning/Utility Services Division at ENERPIPE, is enthusiastic about the new partnership: “With heatbeat as a partner, we see ourselves well-positioned in the digital local and district heating world. Besides the innovative approaches and professional expertise, the individuals at heatbeat convinced us that they are the partner we want to drive forward topics such as network simulations or operational optimization.”

Dr.-Ing. Marcus Fuchs, Managing Director and Co-Founder of heatbeat, is optimistic about the collaboration: “The decision to enter into a partnership is the result of careful consideration and intensive discussions. With ENERPIPE, we have found a partner who supports our vision and helps us achieve our goals. ENERPIPE is already strongly represented in the heating network market as a system provider and brings a lot of practical knowledge from the planning, construction, and operation of heating networks into the partnership. With this partnership, we are creating a strong foundation for the further development of our digital twin with a solid anchor in practical implementation and operation.”

The strategic partnership between ENERPIPE and heatbeat will strengthen the competitiveness of both companies and drive innovation in the automated planning and operational optimization of heating networks in the Digital Twin.
