Digital Twin Feature Update: January

Dear Reader,

in our feature update for version 2025.1 of our heatbeat Digital Twin, we would like to highlight some of the key developments. In the recent weekly updates for our Digital Twin, a new project management overview, new features of the live data table, and other exciting topics stand out.

Project Management Overview

The Digital Twin is the centrepiece when carrying out projects with heatbeat. It accompanies you through the entire course of the project and, in addition to an intuitive and interactive presentation of the project results, now also offers support in organising the project process.

With the new project management tab, you can view your individual project plan with all work packages and milestones in a Gantt chart.

The current status of the project processing is also displayed, so you can keep track of the progress per work package at any time and follow it interactively.

In the future, more exciting extensions will follow to help you keep track of project progress even more effectively.

Extension of the Live Data Table

The live data table is the central hub when it comes to getting a quick overview of your consumers and producers. In recent weeks, we have already been able to identify defective substations and contribute to optimised operation.

In addition to key figures and a status of data transmission, you can now see the valve positions of the transfer stations at a glance.

This way, you can identify conspicuous buildings and access the corresponding building dashboard with a click to view further information.

Performance Improvements

As the digital twin is increasingly being used in large networks, we have set ourselves the goal of further maximising performance.

Thanks to the latest improvements, the Digital Twin has been successfully tested for a connected network with more than 30.000 buildings. This ensures smooth operation in the map view even with large amounts of data.

In the example shown above, you can see all the buildings in the city of Aachen along with their heat demands.

Demo Environment

To convince yourself of a product, it is always a good idea to test it. For this reason, we now offer our own demo environment in which you can experience our digital twin for yourself.
