From 2 to 4 April 2025, the heatbeat team met for a special off-site meeting in the picturesque town of Marburg. This meeting was not only an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, but also to promote the personal exchange that is particularly important in the everyday life of hybrid working.

After arriving in sunny Marburg, our adventure began with relaxed conversations and getting to know the new team members personally. Dressed in our new heatbeat jumpers, we went on a hike together through the idyllic Marburg countryside on the second day. The fresh air and the breathtaking views from the Kaiser Wilhelm Tower provided the perfect setting to get to know each other better away from the work topics. For the evening, our organizing committee had prepared a fun pub quiz in which we tested our knowledge of geography, music, sport and details of the heatbeat Digital Twin. To round things off, we went on a cultural walk on Friday morning as part of a guided tour of Marburg's historic city centre.

When we said goodbye a few hours later and with a few days to reflect, we realised once again how important our events are for a good team dynamic! We had also been able to get to know a new, beautiful city, its culture and the surrounding nature. We are sticking to our conviction: we will definitely continue our team events - for the world championship title in hybrid working!
