heatbeat, together with project partner Enerpipe and the Markt Oberelsbach, is holding a public information event on the current status of municipal heat planning. The main focus will be on the results of the inventory and potential analysis. Afterwards, citizens will have the opportunity to ask questions of the experts from heatbeat and Enerpipe and learn about future heat supply options. Another public information event at the end of the project, with a presentation of the finalised heat plan, is planned for the second half of 2026.

In the free online seminar "Heating Networks with and without Municipal Heat Planning," Marcus Fuchs (heatbeat) and Markus Euring (ENERPIPE) provide insights into the world of heat planning and demonstrate how to tackle the topic in your own municipality – with or without municipal heat planning.

District Heating Conference – we'll be there! In 2026, we will once again be represented at the AGFW District Heating Conference, where leading players in the district heating industry will meet at the Kongress Palais Kassel on April 28 and 29. We at heatbeat are looking forward to a diverse program of specialist seminars, workshops, and a large exhibition. At the event, we will demonstrate how digital solutions such as the heatbeat Digital Twin accelerate the expansion and decarbonization of heating networks – and how data-based planning can support municipal heating planning and the transformation of existing networks.
