The Berlin Energy Days 2026 will once again provide a central stage for discussion on the future of energy supply – and we are delighted to contribute our perspectives as part of this forum. Together with experts from politics, business, and science, we want to drive forward solutions for a climate-neutral, efficient, and resilient energy system. With our digital simulation of heating and cooling networks, we show how data-based planning can sustainably support the transformation of municipal and urban energy systems.

The polis Convention is Germany’s leading trade fair for urban and project development. Since 2015, it has served as an annual gathering for all the stakeholders who plan, design, and continually rethink our cities—for today, tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow. In this context, we have the opportunity to present the Aachen Local Heating Pilot Area Project in collaboration with the City of Aachen. This project focuses on the rapid evaluation of local heating concepts in decentralized supply areas that are not expected to be connected to district heating in the future.
